JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE / LUNER NEW YEAR 2027 / YEAR OF THE GOAT
Chinese New Year 2027, the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Goat will be released as a limited edition featuring a special bottle design by the artist JiaYi Li.
This edition forms part of Johnnie Walker’s Lunar New Year range, in which the respective Chinese zodiac sign takes centre stage in the design. For the Year of the Goat, JiaYi Li has combined a detailed goat motif with floral and natural elements on the distinctive blue bottle and its matching packaging.
Inside is the well-known Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a blended Scotch whisky from Scotland. On the nose, gentle smoke, honey, dried fruit and delicate spices come together. On the palate, hazelnut and dark chocolate combine with sherry, citrus zest and subtle peat smoke. The long, warm finish is accompanied by lingering sweetness and a delicate smokiness.
JiaYi Li is a Chinese artist and illustrator based in Paris, known for her colourful and detailed illustrations. Through her design, she lends the Blue Label bottle a unique artistic interpretation of the Chinese zodiac.
