GlenAllachie – 16 Year Old – Billy Walker 50th Anniversary – Present Edition
Distilled at the Glenallachie distillery in Speyside, this release is the second in a trilogy of whiskies produced to celebrate Billy Walker’s 50th year in the scotch whisky industry. The Present edition has been aged in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks before being transferred to Mizunara virgin oak casks for finishing, for a total maturation of 16 years.
Part of a limited release of 2,900 bottles this whisky has been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 48% abv
